Judging Colour Temperature 2

Brief:
Take one photograph in full sunlight in the middle of the day, one in shade during the middle of the day, and one in sunlight when the sun is close to the horizon. In each case set the camera's white balance to 'daylight', then 'shade' and finally 'auto'.

Full sunlight
WB: Fine weather

WB: Shade

WB: Auto

Shade
WB: Fine weather

WB: Shade

WB: Auto

Sun close to the horizon
WB: Fine weather

WB: Shade

WB: Auto

What have I learned?
As expected, the image taken using the shade setting is very warm (too warm in full sunlight). I was interested to see the differences between the fine weather and auto white balance settings. In all three cases, the auto setting gives a much cooler result. This might just be a characteristic of the camera, but it's certainly worth knowing how these settings will affect my shots.
